well could anything possibly go wrong... blowing shocks etc? i think its gonna flex something fierce and require coil retainers and extended bump stops

i think he means puttin 7 inch lifted coils in with only 2 inch lifted shocks. or (vice versa)

i dont know how it would work, but i dont think it would work well.

I think your going to blow the shocks on compression. Unless you ext the bump stops. Oh and your coils will fall out.

Adjust your shock mounts to suit and it will be fine. Leave the mounts factory and you will wreck your shocks in no time.

yup the prob your gunna have is rebound/compression lengths will differ .. ie not be centred. So on compression you will most likely damage shocks on a hard hit. you may have 6-8" of downward travel but only 2-4" of upward travel.

To correct this either extend bump stops and install spring cones/ straps OR

Fit the MATCHED shockie in the first place

anything is possible its just that most are too lazy to make it work.

My new set up is ARB 3" springs in the front with moved spring mounts so its 1" higher making it a 2" just won't get as much coil bind actually my diff will hit the sump before coil bind. 2" rear springs and 14" fox triple bypass piggy back shocks all round talk about coils falling out but should be good with them clamped in place, in 2 weeks will find out. problem is first drive will be OBC so if there is a problem it ain't going to be easy to fix.
