Newbie Shout Out

Post by Chef »

Hey y'all, just a shout out to you fellow land cruiser freaks! My name is Alan Loshbaugh. I'm a long time member of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association here, and dedicated cruiser owner. You can see all the various models down in my sig. My 65fj45 is in the midst of restoration. One 76fj40 is kinda stock, with 2F, h41 four speed, early transfer case, pto winch, newly recreated factory softtop from Pakistan (you guys know about those?). The other 76fj40 is a trail beater with a beefed up 2f, gm sm420 4 speed, early transfer, 4 wheel discs, 36" swampers 4" bds lift, warn 8274-50, and seems to loose sheet metal every time I bring it home with dents..hehe...Soon to be sprung over on fj62 axles. 83fj60: even beefier 2f/h41/splitcase/bds2.5" lift. Daily driver so far. We have some of you lurking over the the pirate4x4 bbs, and the lcml, so I thought I'd come over and lurk here. G'day!

I did geyt my top from Ehsan, you can see pix of it here http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthre ... did=199249

I think it's a high quality product, and includes all the factroy replica bows, which you just can't find over here. I had him make one for my fj45 as well, I haven't had time to play with that one yet...The pirate guys do tend to be a bit brash at times, one just has to learn that it's just part of the game over there, and throw it back at them. Or just stay quiet:)
