I have 235/75 X15 on my leafy right now on stock gearing. I know it's not a coily but I wouldn't wanna try any bigger than that on stock gearing unless you wanna kill clutches regularly.

your speedo is probably already out anyway - and any tyre increase or decrease will affect it... so forget that =)

Gear ratios, give it a 10% increase and youll know about it - especially highway driving and in traffic...

if you're trying to do it on the cheap you're pretty much out of luck - cos coilys arent as easy to modify as a leafy...

hmmm....ive got a leafy swb sierra (stock) and just bought 31x10.5xr15's and the bloke at the tyre shop said it''ll scrub and carry on with out a body lift - so thats what im after right now - a 2inch body lift to help clear the mudz, but it has 235/75/r15 on it at the moment and doesnt scrub?? and its stock as a rock...

i've got a 97 coily with 235/75r15 federal mt's on 15x7 sunnys
they scrubbed hard when stock so i had my springs reset 40mm quckly sagging to about 20mm and longer bolts with packing washers spacing the front bump stop rubbers down about 1 inch, still scrubbed but was ok if you took it easy...... but that idea didn't last long, so in went a body lift and a bit of seem bashing in the front guards now all good. still have slight rubbing on full lock when tyres are pushed up hard. speedo is 8kms out to.

235/75r15's fitted on my stock W/T leafy with no rubbing. That was on stock rims aswell. Maybe wise to hammer the wheel arch flat on the inside as when my zook hit obstacles at speed and compressed the bumpstop the tires would catch on that lip.
