New Triton dual cab

Post by want33s »

I see the add on TV and it says "Rear power window"..
Have the new Tritons got an electric rear window so your back seat passengers can access the tray?

Yep. Similar to the Ford Explorer pickups. Dunno why Toyota went and got rid of em in the new Hiluxes.

they are a good and bad idea, good because its something people dont see every day, ive had passers by stop and ask me about it. and its just different to everything else. but on the bad side it uses the battery when the car is off to wind it down, so if your battery dies, and your jump starter is in the back....you gotta climb thru the car to get to it! naturally its more stuff to break down as well touch wood mine has been pretty good so far. and last but certainly not least you cant have a too badly damaged rear end caus the rails, motor and basically everything is in there and it obviously it wont go down if the shell is all caved in from a rear end smash.
