What to do.. stored for months

going into the army in the next 2 weeks and going to be hanging on to my patrol, it is going to be stored in my gfs shed and will be drivin probly 2-3 times in a space of 6 months anything i should do to keep it good whilst not in use and before i leave it?

disconnect the battery if you can (no alarm etc...) or it will end up flat

yeah thats the plan should i service it before aswell may have a little bit of water in diffs... havnt had the time to do breathers yet.

my utes been at Bolsys since before christmas and only driven a total of probably 100m since then (has no brakes) and it still starts first go every time. I did have to pull a vine out of the engine bay last weekend though.

Make sure you store it with a full tank of Diesel.

servicing is a good idea, but not essential.

get the GF to start it every couple of weeks if she's able and let it run for 10 minutes.

(i'm in the army and have been for nearly 20 years. It's agreat job mate you'll enjoy it.)
