Warn 6hp motors

Post by nzdarin »

Does anyone know the difference between the Warn 6hp motors?
I have Bosch model 68018 but in the US it appears to be 68608.

They appear to be the same motor does anyone know if there is a difference?

Sorry, can't help you with your inquiry but I would be very interested in any info you have on the Bosch motor.

Is it straight bolt on?, Part No.? , etc. I assume the model number quoted is a Warn product code, not a Bosch code.

I would appreciate any info you have regarding the Bosch specific details.

Cheers,
Kris. :D

The Warn motors are made under licence by bosch in brazil (i think it is), and are next to impossible to get except through warn. I did my apprenticeship at Bosch in melbourne, and even as an employee was unable to get the motors, or even get any info on them.

Not sure, but I do knoe Warn's Part# for the 6hp Motors are 68608, or through ARB a W68608.
