Need a bit of help, fitting 38's on a Hilux

Currently I have a GQ Shorty with a 5" lift and 35" Baja Claws, within the next couple of weeks I'm going to be selling my shorty and in the market for a mid to late 90's Hilux dual cab Diseal as I need a tray for work.

I want to put 38's on my next truck and want to know how difficult and what cons I would have to get them on a hilux as I don't really know tooo much about Hilux's yet.

The truck is going to be a daily driver with realistcly maybe 1 - 2 off road weekends away every 2 months, but in saying that i don't do any 'hardcore' offroading so i don't need top of the line suspension.

I honestly want to put 38's and jack it up cause i enjoy having a big fourby and love the look of them nice and high so in saying that I wonder if people have experiance and have any advice to how difficult it would be to get 38's on it and how much I would be looking at roughly.

But in all seriousness 38's on a hilux = a big headache

Front axle forward
Rear axle backwards
Cross over
Tubbing firewall

add to the mix: gearing...tragic brakes with such big rollers...38s are a big tyre for a hilux imo, merging onto the highway is fun with a 2.8 at the best of times...let alone pushing 38s.

really that much of a headaqe on the Hilux's huh?

What about 35's then? is it still a headaqe? Cause i could just keep my wheels and tyres from this car and put them on the lux?

for a streeter a standard 2" suspension lift and a 2" body lift will let you run 35's.

really is that all that is needed?
how difficult would it become if i wanted to raise it another few inches higher so say a 2" body with like 3 or 4" suspension?

Its easy to fit 38s just bolt them on and let them self clearance

How much for the flared front quarter panels .. ?

It had 2" dropped front hangers, Modified Rear springs up front and IFS rear springs in the rear with lift blocks. Front axle was a few inches forward and the guards were aftermarket fiberglass hannerman guards with the firewall bashed in with a sledge hammer. The tyres still rubbed.

Fark ruff that held up well... basically 35's, definetly get longfield cv's and axles up from, rear axles should be sweet other than that diff forward 2 inches for the offroad side of things and youll be right, well should be.
