It is possible to run those tyres on stock rims, but it is not recommended - the tyres are too wide for the rim.
Whilst you may find a tyre shop that will fit them, technically, they're not supposed to and there are insurance and liability issues for a store that fits tyres outside of the recommended rim wdiths.
Some of the larger franchise stores are very reluctant to do anything outside of what the book says.

so will i have any problem with them? i dont want to be rolling a bead around a corner at 100km/h.... or is it just a precaution like havn your sway bar connected in which 99% of zuk drivers dont?

I can't really answer that - they should be fine and it has been done plenty of times before... but it's not a recommended fitment and will tend to crown the tyre, taking the centre of the tread out.

i have 235/75/15s on my sierra, but i brought new rims at the same time. 45each for 15x7-12. the sunny rims look much better than the stock rims (with the holes). i couldnt wait to get rid of them. the extra width and offset has also made the car more stable at higher speed, which is a big plus!
just shop around and get rims at the same time mate, its worth doing.

I recently purchased Speedy 15x8 et-24's for my zook (running 31's). I have given them a fairly hard time so far and I am VERY happy with them. I WILL be keeping a closer eye on them after reading that article however....
As a side note, I was originally looking to purchase the Speedy 15x8 et-28's, but I found out that Speedy no longer stock that rim, and they are sourcing the wheels from different supplier... I wonder if this supplier change is related to the issue in the article???

Just buy the speedys.
The bible lists all the 5 on 5.5" cars, but the offset and centre bore can be wrong.

Do a search ^ for "Bunnings Flares". This is one of many flare options.
