Fitting falcon power steer to disco

Post by kitacooch »

G'day, just wondering if anyone can help me with some advice on fitting falcon power steer to my 95 disco, 3.9 litre serpintine belt system. ie what model falcon, how to addapt etc. Or if there is a better option.
My current power steer seems to be having some real problems with my 35"s. Is it a case of just repairing my current one or will it just be an ongoing problem.
Any feedback helpfull.
Cheers

Have a look at this link for some ideas.

The ZF pump mentioned is definately the single best upgrade if you can get one there. Another mate bought the pump and the ram to do something similar but found the improvement with the ZF pump was so great he has yet to bother installing the ram assist. All examples running 36-37" tyres

I ran VT commodore pump with 35 centipedes, worked quite well.
