GQ Power Steering Box

Post by Swerve »

Guys,

A mate sent me this, any recommendations ?
Hey Steve, any good places to get a new/recon steering box. Mine is leaking. Is it hard to replace? I'm guessing there's the input - steering column, power steering fluid and the output which would be to the steering rack or whatever.

It's the box thats at the front of the engine bay and has a large bolt at the bottom.

It's a GQ Patrol (Maverick) 1989.

a wrecker is a good place to start. They arent that hard 2 replace. You do need a little patience tho. And as far as everything else goes, all answers are yes minus steering rack. 4wd's use draglinks and steering rods
