GQ GU fuel tank the same?

Hey all, trying to source a standard fuel tank for a GQ SWB and was wondering if the GU tank is the same.

Unsure about the actual shape etc, But I was told my GQ LWB long range tank could be bolted up to a GU.
Dont know about going back the other way though :?:

I got a Std GU Tank sitting in my shed at home if you wanna measure up (& Take with you :armsup: )

I goy a mate who has put a GU into a GQ. Having looked under my GU and working n my mates GQ, putting in his LRT. They all look the same

hey Steve, i have a TJM long range in it atm and i have seen an GU one just at glance they do look close but would like to make sure before i buy anything

std gu tank is same as gq but has no drain hole, deisel anyway

Pretty sure the filler necks are slightly different diametres too, but nothing you can't get around without too much hassle.
