whats the hight of a true 2" lift?
whats the hight of a true 2" lift?
hey guys i just installed a 2" lift to my gq shoryy. dropping it from 4". it looks really low. how do i tell if it really is a 2" lift compared to a stock standard patrol. how do i measure it? Whats the best way to measure your lift?
i dont like the way people measure from the rim to the guards as its not too accurate ie some have flares, some have cut guards, some have 15"-16" wheels. is a good indication of the size of your lift the distance of your bump stops?

Most so called 2" lifts for the shorties are not 2" lift. I don't sell what is in the book for this reason but coils that are slightly taller. Unless you have a lot of weight, don't make the mistake of getting LWB coils otherwise you will be stuck with a rough ride.
I go by 60-65mm bump stop clearance at the front for a standar height vehicle. It depends on what Nissan put in them from the factory.
