Repainting Flares/ Bumpers

Repainting Flares/ Bumpers
Well selling my feroza in the very near future and doing all the bullsh!t little cosmetic touch up bits n pieces, one of which is repainting my bumpers and flares.
There's a good deal of bumps and bruises from rocks, ledges, trees, wheelbarrows etc. (Don't ask ) Has anyone done this before.
No troubles with how to do it, halfway there already, but am curious about a few things. The black plastic at the bottom front of the rear flares has been sandblasted to sh!t, can it be replaced, removed or should I just paint it black?
Also the two pieces of my rear bumper are way different in the way they bolt together, all different screws etc. Is this usual or is one likely to have been replaced at some stage?
Finally those fuck!n little screws that hold the plastic lining in the wheel wells in place, where can you buy them? I busted a heap of them getting the lining off because I was half loaded and not very patient Heaps of fun though

lol.. thats what i did. i tore out all of the plasatic lining. its a waste of space.. u really can use them to flex a bit farther in! they are sposed to keep water from splashing into the engine bay but its going to anyways. its point less. tear em all out. unless u plan on selling ur feroza... then u might want to keep em. jus for more aftermarket value.. but in my opinion... worthless. jus kept gettin in my way. lol

The lining clips and screws you can get from any daihatsu dealer at around 2.50 each. The rest.... just paint it....

what do you guys paint these with?
my rear bumper is a bit worn out on the edges and id like to fix it up.
but i thought just normal spray paint would look dodgy and wear out easily?
was thinking some vinyl dye? anyone heard about this?
****** How do i make the fender picture a thumbnail like the bumper picture?******

Just go to any place that supplies and matches automotive paints and give them the colour/ paint code from your engine bay. They'll be able to mix you the exact paint.
I'm using 1l (just over 2l thinned out) of acrylic for all the flares and bumpers and then you need a top coat of clear (for metallic paint). The whole job will cost me about $100 but will make a HUGE diffrence to the appearance of the car.
It would be normally $125 but I already had the carton of beer
Unfortunately it's been either too friggin humid or raining so haven't been able to proceed beyond the 3rd coat of grey I did 3 days ago
