hey all just wondering what i need 4 a shackle reversal on 40, so i dont go through the roof on evry bump. :D

You only really need a new spring hanger and if you're careful with the grinder you dont even need that.

If I was you I would do some reading. There is alot of conjecture that they are a waste of time. up to you though.

Going through the roof is part of owning a 40 IMO. :D

i have a SR done on my forty... all custom work. check out US websites as they have kits to choose from. You can relocate the shackle hanger through the chassis or under it and brace with plate and then mount a spring hanger a couple of inches below the front of the chassis. Mine is made with a bracket slotted over the chassis rail bolted then welded.

is the 75 series the same or is it more involved to do a sr on a 75. can i reuse the standard mounts or do i have to get new ones? also how far forward can i take my front diff while doing this?
