I have an 01 GU with 6 inch lift and have just put new tyres on and had wheel alignment done, steering wheel was off centre before new tyres and i thought the wheel alignment would of fixed the problem but it didn't. Bloke at tyre shop told me steering wheel needs to be taken off and re-aligned that way. It is a st by the way. Is there any way i can disable airbags so i can take steering wheel off and re-align it myself or do i have to pay a mechanic a small fortune to do it?

get a HD front steer arm from superior eng. or similar. If your running a 6" lift I would assume you will be driving it so the stronger steer arm is a good idea anyway.

Adjustable drag link!!!!
Just put a 5 inch lift in my 99 GU wagon, steering wheel went out buy 90 deg.
tie rods have left and right hand threads.
just wind out untill steering wheel is straight agian.

do you have adjustable panhards in there?

get the adjustable panhards and a superior heavy duty draglink.
then you can set everything back where it should be.
