80 rear caliper. any different between early and late model?

Post by udm »

does anybody know if the "rear" brake calipers off early and late 80series are the same?

short story...
-i have an early 80 series
-i have to replace the rotors
-i have excelente condition late model hand brake setup in the backyard.

so i was thinking i could buy late model rotors and use my old caliper with the late model handbrake.

cheers

thanks mate for that...

i have it all sorted now, i bought late model dba rotors, the calipers need a little grinding off for a 15" wheel to fit.

btw.i hope the late model handbrake setup works better than the early ones
