I'd have to agree with Turbo GU, the mud needs to be revamped along with some of the daytime recoveries. Those small kato's wouldn't pull the skin off a rice custard at full jib let alone a 2 tonne truck jambed up against the rocks..... Certainly an area for improving.

Team Drovers rollover on Sunday was a close call for those spectators. I stood right there on Saturday and watched Red Bitch do the same thing, thankfully for my sake, not as bad. Then there was the runaway tyre. That could have been much worse...... I wonder what penalty the pirate team got for that.

Crowd favourite would have to have been the "fridge". It seemed to go most places that you wouldnt expect a station wagon to go.

Not sure what happened late saturday arvo but I headed back to camp when the action slowed mid afternoon. Only to see Bandage bear come back with a broken portal, Gonads with a broken front diff and red bitch with the front wheel assembly ripped off....... Lesson to self, dont leave the track too early.

Well done to all competitors. My money was on ZUK404, but wasnt to be. Maybe next year guys.
Will upload some pics to the Well Sprung website soon.
We got the normal penalty for it, i was greatfull that no one was hurt could of been really bad was just an overlook on my part in all the excitment. The thing that bugs me is that one of my mates brought it to the judges attention and also trying to get my att but i didnt hear him, and was told to be shut up(outside assistance) we should of been stoped stop the clock give us a penalty and made to remove the tire before it had a chance to fall off, not passing the buck was my fault it was on there just saying if that sort of stuff is picked up something should be done about it before it came off and could of seriously hurt somebody my 2c

The spot where Gonads is stuck looks like the same spot he got stuck in his buggy at the last Werock round that was held there.

Thanks for the good things said about my truck SUZZY Q . We had a ball and ended up in 8th place even after laying her down in the mud at the 10 point marker. I built the truck for a budget off $10,000 but passed that so i sold my boat and had her at TT for a honest $12,200. the build was started in mid sep off last year and finished last wed morning at 6am. Lucky's 4x4 customs helped out with the cage and set up the rear and mounted the coil overs. All other was down by me including the paint with most work done in my garage at home. LET THE BIG BOY'S BUILD WHAT THEY WANT they will need to to keep up with us next year.

Yep agree with all that have said Suzi Q is one good looking truck. And it is a real truck. Not a disguised buggy

Mark Mitchel. Team Bandage Bear.

I would also like to say that Mark is a great addition to this sport and really is an all round fantastic guy. What you did at presentation would have brought a tear to many a grown mans eye(for those that were not there Mark handed over his First place prize money from the show and shine to a very sick young boy that had attended this event). Also Mal Van and Phill Noble you guys rock  . I was sitting right behind the young boy with Systic Fibrosis at presentation and to see how happy you 3 guys made this young boy by granting him his wish was just amazing. I imagine he still hasnt slept.

Keep up the good work guys and i hope to see everyone again at next years Tuff Truck Challenge.
can you elaborate on this for us not there
Mark Mitchel won the show and shine and gave his $1000 prize money to a young boy(aprox 12yo) that was suffering from Systic fibrosis. The young boy had one wish and that was to get a ride in Phill Nobles Nissan at TTC. He not only got a ride in Phills nissan but Mal Van did another full throttle run through the mud run on Sunday after noon with him in the passenger seat and then gave him a very small very controlled and supervised drive of his Bushrangie as well.
They said Gonads took him for a drive too, in his red buggy! (ABT Firetruck Jeep) He didn't sound too happy about it being referred to as a buggy though.

Gonads rig still looks like a jeep not a buggy unlike the buggy being passed as a zook!!

Yep that Zook looking buggy has raised the bar on good looking Pro mod buggies
Just goes to show the event should be called Tuff Buggys (with some Trucks to make up numbers).
I will say though the trucks that are real trucks all presented well in the pics ive seen.

I should have worded that better. I wasn't referring to it as a buggy, the person who told everyone about the make a wish stuff at the presentation called it "his red buggy". He responded by saying "Oh, it's a buggy now is it?" and wasn't that happy about it.

awsome pics there mate, 4 nice ones of my Blue GQ on mini wirabra, hope you dont mind that i saved them,

I must also say that we had an awsome weekend, the truck held together all weekend, only problem being a twisted axle, and bent gearbox crossmember, and the thirds arms have damaged the chassis, but we are looking at linking it now, so we will have to see how that turns out, but all in all great weekend had by us and our crew, we tried top put on the best show possible,

Thats correct. They were refering to Marks Zook which we all know may as well be a buggy. And Gonads made the comment because TTC had been trying to convince everyone it wasn't a buggy up until that point.

Gonads defianatly didnt take the young bloke for a ride as he spent most of the day getting the Firetruck back together.

No one really gives a shit. They have built these rigs to the rules. Good on them. People here are just making an observation.

Maybe im mistaken but i didnt notice Pete's Rig there at all for anyone to be making comment about it

Trust me when Pete's rig is ready your going to see way more opinions on this than anything ;)

Gonads also made a funny comment about the Bandage Bear rig being able to win the Engineering/Show n’ Shine in Ozrock / Werock.

Inside the belly plates. In any case there is no specified amount of chassie to be used in the current rules.

That is dead on right there Tony.
They are built to an inch of the rules. They are not right in some eyes (mine) but they are complient to the rules.

This is exactly right. I dont agrea with the rules either but they have just as much right to be there as any other rig.

I know there are defianatly going to be a lot more of this type of rig there next year.
