fj45 body bolts

hey guys can anyone tell me what size and length the bolts are on a 1983 fj45? also how many there are?

my mates knockin me up a body lift kit and we need to know these things as he hasnt done one for a 45 before, and because im out of town and cant access my ute i cant have a look!

depends on what year mate, some are captured, some are bolt through, and stuff.

On the 1983, get the same rear 4 as a 75 series ute and you should be sweet! the front is all custom
hands and mums dont count!!!

thanks bj, so the cab itself should just take the same as a 75series?
and the front guards just use 2in tube like everyone else?

2" SHS or something on the front hinge go for like 5mm wall.

just lengthen the guard brackets, weld a bit of plate on them
hands and mums dont count!!!

oh yeah, your standard steering box sucks with the firewall and body lift shenanigan...

SIKFJ40 cut his firewall, which is probably the easiest and safest, i ran 60 series steering which is the safest, but hardest method.
hands and mums dont count!!!

i got factory fj45 power steer and a 60 series conversion so will work on that when it gets there.
