Rocker Cover

Post by joel HJ60 »

How much heat is dissipated through the rocker cover? I was thinking of painting mine and didn't want any dramas in the top end. Can't see it being a hassle, just thought I'd ask.

Are you wondering if you paint the rocker cover its going to overheat the engine?

if so, no its not going to make any difference.

Majority of heat is dissipated through the coolant and radiator.

don't paint it red :? No seriously i understand that you think heat may rise and hence be involved in rocker heat dispersment however, no, coolant/radiator takes that.

Painting for pretty sissy boy looks will make no improvement/or lack thereof of performance..
We are put on this earth for one thing, and one thing only, to die. What you do in the mean time is entirely up to you!
