I think you'll be too thick for Laser cutting so it's either water jet cutting which is expensive or high definition plasma cutting which should be your cheaper option. High definition Plasma cutting has come a long way and although the cut isn't quite as good as Laser it's not very far away from it.

Laser central, My Bro works there. Ask for Matt.

16 Westlink Pl
Richlands
3375 6022.

You can easily cut 10mm with laser. They just use nitrogen gas instead of oxygen. I have had 20mm cut with this method and the results are quite good.

They also have a 3D laser pipe cutter there too which can do some amazing shite!!

If you can draw the items you want with CAD first you will save yourself some money, as the most expensive part of one off pieces is the CAD technicians time.

Actually I have to get some 10mm wheel centres cut in the next 2-3 weeks so if your order isn't too ridiculous you could tack onto my order.

PM me.

Peter.

I doubt very much you'll get Aluminium cut in Laser much over 6-8mm thick. None of the guys we use here in Melb will do it, it's either water jet or Hi Def Plasma.
