80 series Clutch not Disengaging

Post by Pep »

Hi all

Posting for a friend (but i can answer some Q's)

Vehicle: 94 model 80 Series aftermarket turbo

The cars been running fine, theres been no clutch slip at all no strange noises.

Car drove normal then parked for 45mins went to leave and no clutch.

When you put your foot on the pedal it moves the fork at the grearbox but does not disengage the clutch itself,
the pedal feels like it has normal pressure.
It's like the pressure and friction plates are fused together.

Thanks Pep

It has probably broken the diaphragm spring on the pressure plate, it will usually feel different but not always.
Don't ask me, ask them. I'm just runnin for my life myself.
Well they are all following you...
No they ain't, I'm just in front...............

Either of the above will do it. Just replaced a clutch that had shat itself big time, the time before that it was a farked fork.
