What is it worth. Parting out Truck

Post by macey »

Looking at parting out my Diesel shorty.
Just wondering what some parts are worth and what price i should put on them.
1 Diesel engine,203k, 4.2, runs beautifully.

2 front and rear complete diffs from disk to disk with centers and cvs.
They have brand new,not used ARB air lockers in them with the compresser and switches all ready to bolt in and go.

3. SWB GQ Black XLT Shell. Straight with all glass and electric windows.

4 5 speed gearbox with transfer case. Runs fine,no problems.

5 Cheesy rear bar, VGC

Any ideas guys would be great .
Cheers.

1. $3500
2. $1200 each
3. Seen people asking $200 - $1000
4. $600
5. 20% less than a new one

Why are you thinking of parting it?

So would 400 be about right for a cheesy rear bar? Thanks for all the help. much appreciated. The shell still has dash, wiring loom ect nad all the bits that go with it so maybe 750 be fair deal for that. Will post pics up when i sell it soon maybe best way.

yep, that sounds reasonable.

I thought a shell would be worth more than $750.

Another 2nd hand cheezy bar sold for $500 not long ago on the forums.

Im keen on yours if you decide to sell.

Cheers,
Dan
