GQ disc brake diff the same as a drum brake one

Just wondering if the diffs are exactly the same and I can do a straight swap,
Also are the ratios of a 92 wagon the same as 96 cab/chassis

Nope.

Rear wheel bearingl housing different. disk brake ones dont bolt up.

you can put a drum diff centre into a disk housing but not disk into drum.

disk has no thrust block in it.

drum housing is longer on the axle tubes also.

If your talking complete diff swap yes they fit.

I wanted to swap diff centres from two going vehicles, looks like you cant swap only put drum style into disc.

Once again a lot of time saved.
