Fitting up a snorkel

Post by hokey »

Hey,

got a second hand snorkel that came with my swb mav when i bought it. i just need a bit of flexy hose to join the snorkel to my standard intake up under the inner guard and just wondering best place to get the right stuff.

went to bunnings and they didn't really seam to have anything. just don't really know where to go.

any advice is appreciated.

Purple Pig would be the go.

Also try Pirtek.

I used some from my local engineering supplier called plastiflex.

hose

auotbarn/supercheap/repco should have it. Packaged as "cold air intake" hose, its wire coiled silicone hose, very easy to work with and does the job well. I got mine from autobarn, $25.
