Spoke to Nashy.

Round 2 has been pushed back 2 weeks to allow for competitors in the OBC to fix, repair & prepare for Cooma.

Now being held over weekend 20,21 & 22 May. (3 weeks before Cliffhanger)

That right. The weekend will be 20, 21 and 22 June. It will be a great weekend. The guys that competed in round 3 last year had an awesome time on Nashy's property.

This year there will be mix of the winch trucks, pitted against the short course trucks of tuff truck style comps.

Keep an eye on the CCDA site, the forms will be there shortly.

Theres camping onsite but you DEF need a 4wd to get there, its a shallow river crossing and then a steep climb but I promise you, commodores cant make it up there!

Its a great place, its really different and all the competitors enjoyed it last year.

If you want to go but dont want to drive (its a LONG way) Fly to Canberra and Hire a car from the airport, its much easier and isnt that expensive, flights are about $80 each way and the car is about $130 for the weekend.

If theres a few of you its worth a look into...

I recommend it for all spectators, its pretty exciting stuff!

Pity I'll be in sunny America for it...

Im a big fan of what the CCDA and everyone involved does with running these events, Round 1 was a really well ran weekend with great tracks. Overall you guys a doing a top job. But these date changes have to stop. Thats now 3 events in a row (Vic Winch, Engel 1, Engel 2) where dates have been set, and have then been changed later down the track. People plan for these weekends way in advance, and I know of people who have made big changes to their commitments to allow for Round 2... now it's been moved

Set the dates right the first time, or leave them put.

Round 2 has been pushed back 2 weeks to allow for competitors in the OBC to fix, repair & prepare for Cooma.
I wonder when we'll find out if the Ateco organisors have the same way of thinking?? There's only one weekend separating Cliffhanger and Ateco. If the current trend with regards to CCDA events continues who knows when we'll find out the real dates for Ateco.

I cant work out why organisors think its ok to just change dates months after they have be set and published in the calender :?

Can anyone verify the date changes? Meaning the dates listed about for June is 100% accurate? I now need to cancel my plane tickets and get them changed! Was going to be a cheap way of getting there but now will double the costs.

This weekend is going to be Huge. There are a lot of spectators interested in this event. It will be a fantastic opportunity to support the CCDA's efforts to produce an event in NSW with the added bonus of competing against some of this countries best "Tuff trucks" to see who really is the king off the road. The event last year drew comments from some of the best drivers that the terrain was technical and challenging. Friday night has some spectacular stages not to be missed. Camping is available and Bredbo pub is a 10 minute drive away. IF YOU HAVE NOT PUT AN ENTRY FORM IN DOWNLOAD ONE FROM CCDA WEBSITE AND GET IN QUICK PLACES ARE FILLING FAST!!!!! All enquires to Chris Nash 0438 418 011

Spoke with Chris Nash this morning, at the moment it looks like this event may not go ahead due to lack of competor entries.

If your thinking of entering give Chris a call and let him no 0438418011

It would be a real shame if it didnt go ahead, it really is a great event!! I loved it last year and am really disapointed to have to miss this years. unfortunatly there are so many events stuffed into these 2 months and it makes it so hard to compete in them all.

If you are thinking about doing this event give Nashy a call , you will have a heap of fun on some really challenging tracks!!

This event is definitely ON !!!!!!!!!!!!We are still accepting entries, so if you haven't rung Chris or posted your entry do so NOW!!!! As stated before the property has a very unique combination of terrain and won't disappoint. 6 Months of preparation has gone into the amenities and new tracks so support this event!!!!! NSW competitors need to get a wriggle on to match the Victorians entries, with a competition this close to Sydney there are no excuses!!!

Sent my entry off the other day.

Spoke to Nashy, looks like there is only about 12 entries so far. It's not too late to enter & trust me you will not be disapointed (Looks like we may get snow).
