Bubs - I found a really great guy on the northside (Hamilton area). Usually does AIRCRAFT welding - so you know it is up to scratch!!!

I was very happy with the work he did for me and the price was pretty good too.

Will try and find his name...

Nah, that's all old transformer technology. Inverter is the only way to go now, once you've used an inverter Tig and understood what they can do you'll never go back to a transformer machine. Our Miller Syncrowave 250 at work hasn't even been turned on for nearly a year. My OTC machine gets used every day, it's the best Tig machine I've ever used, but I would like to try either the new OTC digital inverter or a new Miller Dynasty 350 inverter.
As for 240 volt Tigs, my Kemppi MLS 2300 is verrrrrrrry nice indeed.
Regards Andrew.

OT:
Andrew, FYI our company exclusively uses the Miller Dynasty 300 (pretty much only stainless work, tho), in all our manf. plants worldwide. The fellas love them (I'm up in the design office); not sure about the 350. The websitemakes me think they're a replacement for the 300?
My name is Rob.

His name is Robert Paulson. His name is Robert Paulson. His name is Robert Paulson. His name is Robert Paulson.

This is legal advice.

The Dynasty 300 is no longer produced but the new Dynasty 350 is a brand new "clean sheet" design with many of the features of the lengendary Miller Aerowave and lots more as well. The same machine also comes in 500 and 700 amps as well (you would need a tungsten the size of a broomstick)
There is some talk on the USA welding forums that Miller may have made a mistake in not keeping the Dynasty 300 and updating it as it is quite a price jump to get into the 350 machine.
Indeed Lincoln have now introduced a new 300 amp inverter to take advantage of that fact.
Regards Andrew.
