Assuming you are content to keep running leaves, I would put front and rear GQ patrol diffs. You will gain a fair bit of width and it would be a fairly straightforward conversion. Simply cut off the coil buckets, radius arm mounts etc and weld on spring perches in the required position.
You will also probaly need driveshaft adaptors at the diff ends.
Patrol diffs are a fair bit stronger than lux diffs.
The reason I say patrol diffs over cruiser diffs, is that the rear pumpkin is centred the same as the hilux. All landcruiser diffs (at least up to the 80s) were drivers side offset which could cause tailshaft vibrations.

Another option is to run longfields. Most comp guys with toy axles run these and swear by them. With the exchange rate being good atm it will probably end up being cheaper than GQ diffs, especially if you are paying for the work to be done.

Lifetime warranty doesnt hurt either.
