Mate I paid 10k for mine about 3 months ago has a fair few mods already as I bought it for wheeling. Drives like a pig on the road but magic on the tracks. Have spent another 1k on it doing wheel bearings seals brakes, new windscreen but is good now. I guess it depends on what you want it for on road off road or both. And 13k may be a good buy if it has a heap of mods and is in great running order. But if you wait and look around you will come across a good buy.

The last few bargains i have bought have involved getting out of the big cities.

basically its supply and demand, if someone lives out the back of bourke and wants to sell something they only have mayby a few thousand locals to sell it to. where as in the city there might be a few million.

I had to drive 1o hours for my last one, spent ages on the phone asking questions, and made it clear that if he bs any of it i would just drive home again. and that the risk you have to be prepared to waste a day of your life and $100+ fuel for the chance to pick up a bargain and save a few 000's.

I bought a bike out west for 4500 which i couldnt get for 6000 in sydney. and in much better nic.

most city vehicle have as many dents as paddock bashers, plus the clutch, brakes etc have all been used 10 times more.

For the 5 poster scrap steel is at a really good price at the moment and i'll go like a rocket with it off :D also loose the ligt it's a smaller market for people who want a car to look like that mor people want a clean lux not a B&S show rig
plenty of parts on the bench

easy to get everything off it, would hang in on the shed wall (if it dosn't pull it down). Make a nice slick tube bar for it. To many roos down my way for much smaller then what i got, they bent the TJM one.
