Well I will definitely win SS10 and SS16 from Hobzees event and then when Rudes disqualifies me for winning those two I will try really hard to win SS18.

We're gonna miss you Berretta - if you pulled out 9 months ago you wouldn't be pulling out of Cliffhanger....

spectating

Post by Hobzee »

Nic Lowns has been lining up a heap of prizes for the spectator activities and any redundant or slow moving stock in my shed is going to slow move its way to White Cliffs apparently. :? ..

I was talking to Schafe from On4toU this arvo. They are offering $500 worth of lighting products as prizes for spectators/marshals on top of their $2000 cash (3rd prize). Onya Schafe...

Hey Hobzee/Rudi how about creating a new entry where Paul can come enter for a few days after his partner has delivered the parcel. A day entry - not a bad idea. Gary

Thanks V840! ;)

Hobzee, if I'd known it would stuff us up for Cliffhanger I might have bit my lip or something! Haha.

Gary - awesome idea, still don't think the missus will let me go!

If she gives birth after 1 July we'll get the new improved baby bonus......I'm thinking it could be 6 litre patrol bonus! (Not sure how I'll get that past her either.......

Best of luck for an awesome event, spewing I we won't be there with you.

For those of you going for the first time, this event rocks! See you there in 09!

DVD

Post by Hobzee »

Hey guys - dont forget we are ramping up the DVD quality and part of that is an offer to have your own sponsors' logos appear next to your name every time your name comes up on the DVD (interviews and vehicle action shots, etc). We have a few teams who have already arranged this with their sponsors. Cost is $250 per sponsor logo and that does the entire DVD. Not saying you will be favoured but you will certainly feature well if you have logo sponsorship. Note also that it doesn't matter who your sponsors are for this.

If you need us to do a letter / proposal to give to your sponsors then let us know and we will help you. Proceeds go towards making it a grouse DVD.

Next to your names / logos will also be an outline of the state / country you represent.

These names, logos and map insets are being prepared before event even starts so that saves a few days in production time.

Will Cas and Do-nuts Muppet be able to take the Trophy west, away from the might of Qld or will a little Birdy or Hoon from Vic take it home??? This is gonna be ACE!

Typical Victorians, mention nearly every state but the most important one. We taught you how to play football - funny can't remember the last Melbourne team to win the flag - no Geelong is regional.

South Australia has some six entries and we are not coming over to make up numbers.
