Hilux drive shaft

Post by Fmx_Aus »

Did the seal in my transfer case today, took the front drive shaft off and its siezed in the middle where it extends. Heated it, tried everything to get it apart.

Anyone have one or know someone who has one for a 87 model Lux around Bris?

Thanks a heap.

Do you mean it is unbolted from the transfercase but when you tried to slide the two halfs of the shaft apart, they won't separate :?:

Measure yours
Go to wreckers and measure some others
You'll find one to fit

Sorry i don't know of the top of my head, but i don't think the IFS will fit. Try arounf the early 90's
Kind Regards,
Brad
