does any one have a dead g13ba engine around?

i need the con rod bolts to finish a rebuild. i have rang all the wreckers around here and no one has the ba just the a engine.

the rods are the same in both engines , the difference is in the crank in the a and ba

i got some for a sierra g13a ands some for a swift g13ba, you can have either but i would aactuallr recomend you go buy new ones i remember reading somewhere that honda D engine bolts are interchangeble , would have to do some digging across several suzuki forums to be sure

I should say that there not a 100% interference fit on all G13b GTI rods.

Its a strange one, on some they have very very slight play and on other rods they do not.

I have however been using them for years now as have others, such as Suzisport....
NB i also got gti rods so i seems all three are same bolt same application)

if its the same rod bolts why are the do the rods have diffrenent torque settings?

can't get new ones unless i go genuine ($750) or custom.

let me rephrase that

they have the same thread, length and size nut on the end on my b, ba, a conrods i have in the garage. Given that gti rev more and are higher power engines then the bolts must be suitable for a ba.

Garndi deals in chips and other pieces for the gti's so i have faith that it's tried and tested. (on another swift forum other ppl talked about the honda bolts being better as they stand up to the rigors of 1.6l engines :) )
