see thats the problem nowadays...everybody is too soft....

funny thing is that people who get free stickers from someone should want as much exposure as they can get, to warrant getting that free sticker

i dont give a crud whether i place first (only happened once) or tail of the field (happens quite regularly)..i entered a comp to compete  if you wanna talk yourself up to get a free sticker be prepared to stand up when you have been found wanting :D

funny thing but..check out the pics of this comp posted and you see more pics of people who rolled crashed or whatever and hardly any of the guys who won...

I would have thought that it your event therefore you own the results and can do with them what you wish. I can't remember signing a constent to have any of my sporting results published in the paper, even though we did regularly come last

If you dont want your results shown don't compete, but I'm
sure no one would care if you did put them on a forum.

uaually companies sponser competitors for advertisement, so if the results are not published the companies dont get the advertisement, not good for the sponsors.
Some people get sponsors not because they win but because they make plenty of noise or put a good show on, I have never heard a sponsor say dont put the stickers on if you dont win.

I think this would be the only event that does not publish the results, what happend to it being a fun sport, no shame in coming last they've still finished in front of the non competitors

Just thought I'd bring this up to the top again. I assume we just print out the form again and post in for entry?

In the next week or so the club will have our new website up and running. There will be all the forms available on the website and all information required.

Yeah Yeah Ben - we're waiting on the web site designer to finish the site - which should have been last week-end. I've since been told that we should see it by Wednesday as a partial site & the week-end as a full site - so we'll see.

I've been advised also that the new web address will be www.toughtracks4wdclub.com.au - not the old site address - although the old site will probably re-direct to the new site eventually.

Those wanting an entry form can PM Jody (JAYCEE83)

The next general meeting for the club is on the 21st May. Our AGM will be held after the general meeting so if anyone is interested in having a say on who is nominated for club positions etc please come along and have your say. Anyone who is not a club member and is interested in checking the club out is also most welcome to come along :)
