How much dose your 4WD weigh then

Post by DAZ »

I want to know if it is possible to get a chev powered SWB 82 40 serries on gas down to the 1700 to 1800 kg .This would make it legal to tow behind my commadore it sits at present full of fuel ,with back seat, no spare, with tail gate ,no doors or roof at 2040kg.

what do others weigh and with what?

Thanks im just wondering if all the mods ive done add up to adding to much weight .When ever you put a car on gas or get an enginers certificate you have to get a weigh bridge certificate so i thought more people would know the weight of there cars .My car now weighs 100kg more after i have built it with no roof than it did before i started with the roof

thats with steel 15x10, 37 mtrs, 4 point cage (made from street sign poles  )

i was pretty suprised my self.

i got a 50/50 weight as well and it was real close

front weighed about 1020 rear was 886

i guess that because my motor kisses the firewall and the front axle is forward about 4.5in

(and my ass is real fat)
