yeah the 4" spring lift looks like its gonna work well just need to make some relocaters for the rear it already has a gaurd cut with fibreglass flares that will do for the time being, it fits 33's nice but with everyone else going 35's the ruts are getting deeper so itll not be long before i order my 35's. Just gotta get some braided hoses made up longer now aand itll be ready for a drive, oh and modify the front crossmember so the shaft isnt touching it. Any one else with a 4" lift know what else needs doing??? Thanks

Hi Guys

I mentioned earlier that I sell the 4" lifted coils. I will be receiving my shipment tomorrow.

I have heavy duty 4" lift coils or normal duy high flex coils. I based the high flex coils off a 215lb spring rate and they sit 520/505mm high with no load on them.

If you tied the coils in you could run 29.5" (760mm) shocks or maybe 32" (820mm shocks).

Without extending the bumpstops? Would love to see some pics of these coils in action!
Im running 195lb's in the front of mine now. I reckon Ive had about 6 sets of coils through mine trying to find something to satisfy me. Always interested to see what others have come up with.
PM me if you like Shane, I'd like to know more.

Hi Rick

I ran 675mm shocks with my run of the mill 2" lift rear coils and had them tied in. I should have increased my bump stops with these shocks but I had 33" tyres and no body lift so my tyres hit before the shocks bottomed out or mabe the shocks did over compress because I didn't really check properly. The length of your bump stops is directly proportional to the length of the shocks and not the size of your lift so yes you will have to increase bump stops.

I don't have any action pics and I am expecting some more coils in a week or so. I give a personal warranty so if you are unhappy with the coils, you get your money back or exchange for a more appropriate coil, so don't be afraid to try them out. All my designs have been through the computer and they are not over stressed. You can get some unreal free height coils if you design them to be over stressed, but they are likely to snap.

I am getting in a pair of 29.5" shocks tomorrow with the eye top pin bottom (Rangie) configuration.

Because these coils are variable there are more turns available to stretch when off road and this is why I believe you will be fine with the 32" shocks. I would think that it would be best to raise your upper shock mounts if you were running 32" shocks.

All this stuff people have done before but I am making it available as off the shelf items.

Those coils with a 215lb spring rate will be a bit soft for a lot of people (although I know you are a soft freak). I have the same coil in an 18mm wire also coming and a non high flex coil for those who want to put on a big load.
I also have 3" lift high flex coils coming for the Rangie/Disco 1 and 3" lift high flex coils for the Disco 2. I will be trying to keep a couple of sets on the shelf at all times.

Some of these coils are untried so Guinea Pigs are most welcome.
