finding out nearly 2 weeks after that I got highest

point score plus class win :? :D

what happened at the presentation?


the 'points adjustment' can't work all that well if the top 6 placing teams were all from modified class.

now out of curiosity how do the classes work?
eg what are the limits etc for each class?
tyre size? lockers? lift??
is there a list to cure my curiosity???

Standard Class

up to 33 inch tyres
body lift permitted
no diff locks
factory motor

Modified Class

up to 36 inch tyres
diff locks permitted
no added traction aids links on suspension
[ie; ladder bars, 5 link front]
rockhoppers allowed
no duel transfers
no crossover steer with torque rod removed
motor upgrade no greater than 300cc
[ie; Hilux 3.1 litre]
no forced induction on petrol motors

Open Class

up to 38 inch tyres
duel transfers allowed
traction aid links allowed on suspension
crossover steer with torque rod removed allowed
no rear steer allowed
motor upgrades allowed
forced induction allowed

Outlaw Class

anything goes
tyres up to 46 inch
rear steer allowed
