I spoke to my local (UK...) dealership today to see if they could cut me a key from my VIN, as the key's too worn to copy, but apparently Nissan UK no longer have records going back to the mid-90s so no-can-do.
Worst case, I can take a lock barrel into a locksmith and they might be able to help, but getting a key number and just phoning Nissan would be much easier, as well as giving me a number so I don't have the same problem a few years down the line.
If I provide the VIN (and anything else that would help) can anyone give me/work out/find out the key number Nissan need to work from?...
Alex.

If only I could read cyrillic! There are american sites which is where I got mine. Saved me lots of trouble on several occasions, both locking keys in cars, locking myself out of the house, and once I locked my ute-box with all my camping gear in it, then lost the key. Would have been a cold night otherwise!!
