... You get asked "why do you have mud on the roof?" and just smile.

when you're clothes always match you're truck (muddy)

When you're lifted, locked, re-geared, and new shoe'd and your entire build up is still under $5000

When you know the best way to remove stuck large phillips head screws

When your wheeling tool kit consits of a 10mm,12mm,14mm,17mm wrenches and a impact screwdriver.

when you have to clean the instrument panel of mud to tell how fast your going

When passengers get worried about the amount of ratties/squeaks/groans
coming from your car...and you just say..."oh..it's always done that..."

Not knowing your "actual speed"

When 65 hp is a lot of power. AND

When a 1.6 is a big block.

Love this thread!

When you realise there is a strange noise coming from your driveline, and 15 years later realise that it is still there, but has not gotten any worse. What - me worry?

When you go from 0km/h to 80km/h and back to 0km/h without your steering wheel shaking you get worried that something is wrong.

When you replace rear brake shoes more often than you check the oil.

When you're speaking to someone who owns a RAV4, Honda CRV, Ford Territory (all soft roaders in general).
They tell you that theirs has full electrics, air conditioning and cup holders etc.

You reply with…

The clutch is that thing between the engine and the gearbox, and its optional if you choose to use it....

The clutch is the size of a 45 single (record that is..)

You pull the carby apart, and end up with a box of spare parts, and the car runs better...

You can pull parts off the lawn mower to fix it.....

You can remove the back seat, and you end up with an extra large wheely bin....

Some clown will then buy that said back seat for $200....

You can buy a new timing belt for $13.00, plan to take the arvo to fit it, have the job done in 30 minutes, then wonder what to do next....

When the carpark is full, you can park in the garden...

I gotta get me another Zukie!!!

when talking to someone you don't talk in kw or hp, you talk in tyre sizes

For Seirras:
when a three year old child can walk upright under-neath the car
when your banned from shopping car parks 'cause you get an urge to ramp up that Hond Civic

For Vitaras:
when a Lowerd VW Golf driver tells YOU your driving a girls car you go and park on top of theirs
when the biggest skid you have done is you sh!t youself when you drove up a ledge and all you could see was sky and someone saying over CB 'HOLLY F@CK'

even though the mrs says "today you can do whatever you want" she still doesnt let you show off to your mates by using her honda civic as a ramp.

when the mrs asks you to take her for a "DIRTY" weekend, you take her to the shed and make her repack youre bearings.
