zook drawers question

Post by stumped »

so i'm selling my old draws from the zook... http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/ftopic140810.php

actually have a tech question, not just pimpin' my wares :P

this was built for my 88/89 WT sierra, just wondering if there was much difference in the internal dimensions of the sierra's over the years? i'm guessing not much, but wanted to check before i give anyone the wrong info. the main concern is the width between the wheel arches... i'm assuming they didn't shrink in length post 88 and any minor changes can just be cut out of the wood so long as the drawers fit in the arches....

any word gurus?

the body changed from NT to WT in 1988.5... according to the info i have

But if your car is a WT, then it should fit other WT's... not sure about coilys - they changed the front clip, but i dont think the rear of the zook was altered much

(except for those brake light thingy that fits on the wheel carrier - which, by the way if anyone has one - please PM ME!)

As far as i know, it was just external body changes, like flares etc. Internal dimesions should stay the same. Your draws should fit in pretty much any SWB sierra Steve (JMHO anyway  )
