Yep... I'm impressed :D

Unsure about the steering spacer, doesn't look like it will match up... has anyone got pics of what they've used on their Jimnys?
Stimpy's was a rectangular block with two holes... I don't have pics or measurements though.

TheOtherLeft: You obviously haven't got a Black Belt in the ancient Japanese art of "Stuff the Zook" ;)
You'd be surprised what you can get in a Jimny...
Shoot me through a sketch and required thickness and I'll see what I can do.

Maybe you do now, but Ive got money that when Squik built hers, it was the biggest and baddest at the time.

Davo... I was first in brother, Stimpy inspired your beast, remember? :D
Stimpy was the pioneer for many of the Jimny's you see today:
Image

I still remember your ooooh's and ahhhhh's when you came around to my place buy to my old transfer case ;)
Fully engineered, kick ass and still a daily driver - he was the prototype for all things good in a Jimny... and drained my bank account in the process

Where is yours by the way? Been off the road for aaaaaages :?

There were a few Jimny's built in Melbourne years ago running 33's and bigger- they were built before Stimpy.

Ahh Sydney.... centre of the universe.

Never heard about them! If that's the case, I would've loved to converse with them... would've made R&D a lot easier! It appears then, that I stand corrected! :D

Got pics?

Stimpy was inspired by D&GTunings Jimny in Belgium - www.dgtuning.com (owned by Dieter), who developed the perfect bolt in Sierra swap kit for the Jimny transfer. They line up perfectly first time, every time and include speedo adapters and all hardware - engineers love it :D
He's got heaps of Jimny and Sierra goodies :D :D :D :D It's all Jimny specific and not simply Sierra stuff that's been adapted.

He built this

The jimny above had so many problems it was redone. Oil leaks everywhere. All the sydney jims I've seem sit way too high. In the early days too all were open diffs too. I've seem a cool videos of davo's. But it's not really a jim with hilux bits. Move the front diff forward and cut the guards. what this 4 inch spring and bodylift poo.
