Hilux Unsprung Weight
Anybody got any idea of the weight of a hilux 8" diff, axles, housing and brakes. I need to establish my unsprung weight in the rear. I had it weighed today and its 640Kg on the rear axle and 1600Kg overall. Time to call weight watchers

I wish i could get my lux to be that light, Mine tips the scales at 2200kg that is including all of my recovery gear and a full tank 1200 front and 1000 rear.
I would think that the diff would weigh around the 180kg mark with a set of 35" tyres just a gues though, figuring that it would take three blokes to lift it onto a truck
