The lastest results for today:

Todd and Ivan still holding quickest time in group, then Muppet.

Ivan and Todd said this was a great stage they loved it.
Was talking to Muppet today, he said the mud stage was well recieved by all in the group.

Just had a quick call from Jonesy at Viewmont. Couldn't talk long as phone was going flat :bad-words:

- Mud stage was fairly un-eventful other than Warner Trimmer in the Prado from South Africa blew up his motor. A replacement has been organsied through Eagle Spares but they just need someone who is willing to be a courier pigeon

If I wasn't working it might have been a good excuse to check out the action

If anyone is heading up there in the next day or so and can help out post away and I'll put you in touch with Jonesy

Not good news unfortunately, just got off the phone with Andrew and Pete who are in Packsaddle fueling up and he said Krimnl's turbo is flukd, might have had some crap go through it.

Hoon bent a steering arm but that is the extent of their damage so far which is good as they are nearly done with the rocks. Apparently they do the mud stages as their last property.

This would be my prefered order of properties. Survive the rocks with respectable times and go hard in the mud and sand. Also means less time competing with wet electricals, failing starters/alternators, blocked radiators and wet/soggy seats :bad-words:

Just spoke to Trudi who is bac out at Denian and latest news is ............

- Todd/Ivan and the Muppets are still pushing each other on stages and seem to be taking in turns for stage wins within their group.

- Brett and James in the Zook were leaving BH last night to re-join their group following repairs due to their roll over at the quarry.

- Barry and Sue Packer have retired from the event due to steering issues.

- Polish Jimny heading back to BH to get a windscreen.

- Todd/Ivan quickest in last nights motorkhana followed closely by Muppets and Terence Reinders from South Africa.

Should have an update around midday after the old Gunbarrel has been completed. Surely Muppets and Todd/Ivan will have to go head 2 head

Latest news from Denian via the Trudis is...............

- Rohan & Wayne got 16 out 18 points on shifting sands.

- Kym Bolton & Robert Marks made it back with 15 secs to spare on shifting sands and nearly took out the marshals in the process

- An unknown team got 15 out of 18 points but got back 20 secs late so get a DNF :bad-words:

- Muppets quickest on the Gunbarrel

- Todd/Ivan dropped their front tailshaft on the Gunbarrel but still finished slightly slower than the Muppets.

- Wormy & Clay donated their front tailshaft from their vehicle  to Todd/Ivan and attempted the motorkhana in 2wd but bent/broke a front radius arm and DNF'd. Wormy proceeded to "moon" the crown from on top the dunes wearing a pink lay borrowed from the Trudis :D

- Muppets beat Todd/Ivan on the motorkhana by 1 sec and their times are very close to Kym Bolton, Birdy & Rohan from yesterdays group.

Will have news from the Sandwall later on this afternoon.

I'm still downloading to Photobucket, but

News from Sandwall is the no one had driven it yet and Al and Shayne winched in 3.49 minutes.

He also mentioned a few big boys have busted, not sure who he's talking about.
