hi hope someone out there will be able to help me i have a 1990 ng turbo diesel 4d56t and i just found a vacume line dangling next to the oil filter dont know where it goes to it comes from the rocker cover and goes down the side of the block where the other one plugs on to the turbo wastegate i think it is and will this make it more sluggish than norm.

There should be a vacuum line off the back of the alternator which is below the oil filter.

Sounds like that might be the one.

sounds like the oil supply line for the vacuum pump.... its a braided hose that has a banjo bolt on both ends....
