The inner rim will not hit the caliper, but get the offset right as it might hit.
I have different offset Sunraysia 15"s on the back of my Hilux and when I got new tyres fitted they put the backs on the front and the ute wouldn't move because they were hitting the caliper.
17x8 N13 6/139.7 fit without a worry in the world. The X Factor (spoke clearance with caliper) is fine on all the 17" Steel that I know. I've got a set of 4 barely used silver rims downstairs now.

are they wide offset? (as in stick out from the car)
If you were sticking them on a 40, not quite enough unless it was running Patrol diffs in which case they would be good.
On the Lux they will sit out a touch further than standard.
