Did one years ago for Hobzie, car since sold, worked well but a roller is better. Used a VL turbo turbine housing and T04E comp.

When you say "worked well", how "well" are we talking? Did the boost come on low enough? Ie: my stock GU 4.2 turbo (just pump/timing adjusted/3" exhaust/more boost) is gettin around 10psi by 2000rpm in 2nd/3rd gear easily. By 3000rpm its gettin 16psi easy, thats all i ever rev it really.

Looking at something similar for mine. Will probably go for a T3x BB variant when the funds allow. I'm happy to get around under 2000RPM off boost and then know i'll have plenty of power up top when i need it.
