How old? Could it have been a Bundera? Wouldn't know about the 5cyl diesel.

Probably a PZJ70 or PZJ73 - not available in Australia. Closest we have ever had is BJ70/BJ73 - same body but 4cyl diesel. FJ70/FJ73 were also available (6cyl petrol)

I don't believe the bundera (LJ70/RJ70) has even been available with the 5cyl 1PZ engine, only the L and R series (lux) motors.

70=SWB hard or detachable top 3 door
73=MWB detachable top 3 door
76=LWB hard top 5 door
75=LWB ute/troopy
78=LWB troopy, late model
79=LWB ute, late model

....then this new 'LandCruiser 70 series' came along and ruined it - anyone know the real model codes for this one? Is it just 76/78/79 still?

The one in the picture is a Bundera - they run hilux drivetrain and coil springs. Not sure exactly on years, around 1985-1989 maybe?

The FJ and BJ 70 and 73 run normal landcruiser drivetrain and leaf springs (except for the 1997+ models, they have coil front). They are still being built (at least the 70 is, not sure on 73/74), but stopped selling in aus in the early 90's i believe.
