I'm running 235/75/15 motorway .A/T's 9 mths old
Now that the locker is in the back tyres have
just about wore out .Anyone had that problem
or is it just the motorways as they seem a very soft
compound.
Regards
James

when i had my rear welded it really chewed through the rear tyres, twice as fast as pre-welded... a locker would help, but the times when you do go round a corner and its locked you will be increasing the wear on the tyre.
your only other option is to re-evaluate tyre pressures i spose, make it wear as evenly as possible.

Yeah you have to adjust your driving style with a lockright to avoid excess tyre wear making sure it doesn't lock up round corners. But still you will inevitably get some extra wear over open centres, I know I do.
