input shaft seal

already posted in nissan section but no replys
does anyone have or know were i can get a aftermarket part number or dimensions for the input shaft seal on a mq l28 four speed. nissan have no stock till mid june n i cant wait that long. would like to have the seal before i pull the box out for quicker turn around

do you have dimensions or the old seal? take the numbers (inner diameter, outer diamter, thickness) or the old seal to any bearing shop.

thats the prob, i live 60km from work and nearest bearing place. would like to knock the job off over the weekend as public transport round here sucks, hate waiting 2-3 hours afta work for the bus. ah well, just have to put up with it i guess

you could try ringing bearing places and they might be able to look it up?

Spend long enough looking around here and you should find an NOK part number that you can use to buy one locally.. Might take some lateral thinking tho' as Patrols weren't sold in the US.

thanks for the responses, finally tracked down. could of gone out the back shed and got me old box out but got do sum spider extermination, big angry one meet me at the door.
