How Much Power Loss do 285's Sap

Post by Dicko1980 »

Hi

I've just fitted a set of 285 MTZ's to my GQ Coilcab whilst the motor was getting a complete re-build. My question is that how much power do the 285's drain compared to the original 15's. I have driven the vehicle in nearly three months so it hard for me to gauge the loss of power and also with a motor thats still very tight and yet to loosen up.

Thanks
dicko

Rims are 16x8 ROH Sunraysia's and diff ratio's are standard for a 94 Coil Cab. I also forgot to mention that I lifted the car 2" also.

see if you can borrow a set off a mate of stock sized, then go for a drive, thats the only way you will really know.
