i think you can get away with 2" not being engineered.ive never known of anyone being hassled anyway around here

The front bar is almost done now, just got to make the mounts for it. Also need to sort something out for the parking lights and indicators. The next job on it will be some sliders and then maybe be a rear bar. I'll get some pic up tomorrow of the new front bar but it is looking more like a off road toy and less like a shopping trolley now
