rear bundera shocks

Post by luke_j »

I am putting a lift kit in my 86 coiled 2.4 petrol bundera and have noticed that the shocks on mine are diffrent on each side ie left shockie is bolt a top hole at bottom right shock hole top and bottom is this usual

The kit I have been supplied has the same fittings on both sides so the right shock in kit does not fit. Has my car been modified or is this normal ?

its normal, yey to eye on one side and eye to pin on the other.

if its just a 2" lift then take it back to the supplier and tell them to give you the right hardware, if its something custom then as mentioned you will have to fab something to make it fit.
